Suns Still Strong With 17 In A Row
The Phoenix Suns still very far from the longest winning streak ever (’71-’72 Lakers at 33 wins) but 17 in a row is still pretty darn awesome for any team to achieve. They made it win a 115-100 win against the Cavs. When you think that the Suns had another double digit winning streak earlier in the season, this feat just makes Eddie Johnson’s bold statement that the Suns are just better than the Mavericks a little more believable. Winning streaks don’t translate directly into championships but it sure proves that they just may have what it takes to win it all. With a guy like Steve Nash playing like an MVP once again and with Marion and Amare to finish the plays, anything is possible for the Suns!

Yeah, they’re a long way from 33, but they did have another 15-game streak earlier. To do that twice in the same season is mighty impressive.

Oh OH….they just lost! Pity. Such a good team deserves a good break, esp a long long one…
